Its funny you mentioned that because I got on here today to ask basically the same question only its on my Kawasaki Vulcan 500. It seems to go from nuetral (at an idle) into first gear kinda hard. Twice in a months time in the morning it even died when I put it into gear, almost as if the clutch wasn't pulled in. I had the shop check the clutch adjustment and its fine. The bike doesn't start to move when the clutch is in either. Could it be just normal with this bike? Hmmm? It runs fine and shift through all 6 gears. Although it seems to clunk a little when it shifts into all gears. My buddy says his brother in laws Harley 883 and his Harley 1200 both clunk pretty hard when they shift too.
